Kisco Information Systems Year 2000 Compliance - OCM II

Object Compression Manager II (OCM II), and all software from Kisco Information Systems, is fully Year 2000 compliant. OCM II has been compliant since it's initial release in February 1998. The only prerequisite is that you must be using it with a year 2000 compliant version of the IBM operating system. As of this writing, the year 2000 compliant releases include V3R2M0, V3R7M0 and all releases at level V4R1M0 or higher.

Our definition of compliance includes the following elements:

  • The software will operate correctly, according to published documentation, regardless of the current date that is set for the AS/400 on which it is running.
  • All date related calculations will be performed correctly, regardless of the century.
  • February 29, 2000 will be considered to be a valid date and the year 2000 will be considered to be a leap year.
