Kisco Information Systems was formed in 1984 to provide high quality data processing services to businesses in the New York Metropolitan area. The goal was, and continues to be, to provide clients with high quality professional services at a reasonable cost. Our concentration was any IBM computer system, with a specialty in the IBM AS/400 and the IBM System/36 mid-range computers.

Since formation, Kisco has expanded its client list on a steady basis. We have tried successfully to take on clients where we can make a significant business contribution. Our approach is to view data processing as a business resource used to solve business problems in a cost effective way.

Kisco Information Systems has significantly expanded its own business horizons. We are software publishers for the IBM AS/400 and System/36 with several award winning products in national and international distribution. Our list of software customers is constantly expanding. It includes Jefferson Smurfit Corporation, the US Department of Agriculture, Amway, Heald College, Airborne Express, Cargill International, Wyeth-Ayerst Canada and more. We have more than 6000 software installations in the US and more than 40 foreign countries. In 1996, we formed the Emerging Technology Division, which was spun off as Boxlab in mid-2000, to provide consulting service in web technologies.

Kisco Information Systems is also recognized as a leading System Software Organization (SSO) by the local IBM Sales Office. We regularly work with IBM at a variety of their local customer sites. Our work with IBM has concentrated on difficult multi-vendor conversions and programming tasks where multiple programming languages are used.

Our rates are very competitive.
