To install QRYTool/400 on your system from the KISQRY.ZIP file you received via E-mail or Website Download, please follow these exact instructions:

1. Sign on to your system using the special IBM-supplied user profile QSECOFR.

2. Run the following command:

   CRTSAVF FILE(QGPL/KISCO) AUT(*ALL)

3. Run the following command to start FTP on your system:

   STRTCPSVR *FTP

   Note: This may not be required if you normally keep the FTP server active on your system.

4. From your PC, create a folder on your desktop named TEMP and move the KISQRY.ZIP file into it, then unzip it to create the installation file named KISQRY.400.

5. From your PC, start an FTP session with your system. When FTP has started, type the following FTP commands:

   BIN
   PUT KISQRY.400 QGPL/KISCO

6. Now go back to the AS/400 command line and run the following command:

   RSTLIB SAVLIB(KISQRY) DEV(*SAVF) SAVF(QGPL/KISCO)
    MBROPT(*ALL) ALWOBJDIF(*ALL)

7. Type the following command on the AS/400 command line:

   GO KISQRY/INSTALL 

8. When the INSTALL menu is displayed, type menu option #1 to complete the installation process. When this command is finished, QRYTool/400 will be installed on your system for your FREE 30 DAY TRIAL.

9. To start using QRYTool/400, display the user menu by keying the following command:

   GO KISQRY/QRYTOOL
