PTF Package: RBPTF005
Available Date: January 4, 2000

Recap:

This PTF is a specification change for spool file routing. It changes the way the USRDTA field is set when routing from one AS/400 to another AS/400. If the USRDTA field contains the character '>' in position 1, then that USRDTA field will be preserved with the spool file when it is sent. If no '>' character is found in postion 1 of the USRDTA field, then a new field value is generated by RBC/400 using the current method.

This PTF lets you route from one machine to another and then to another while preserving the original USRDTA setting.

PTF Package: RBPTF004
Available Date: September 18, 1998

PTF Package: RBPTF003
Available Date: January 31, 1998

Recap:

This PTF improves throughput when sending OS/400 objects from one system to another. Prior to this PTF, multiple object send operations run at the same time would cause transmission delays. This PTF corrects this problem and improves transmission times when several people are sending objects at the same time.

PTF Package: RBPTF002
Available Date: September 9, 1997

Recap:

This PTF improves error reporting during print transfers and object distribution operations. Prior to this PTF, communications errors were reported with poor diagnostic information making problem determination and resolution difficult. The improved programs will provide better sense information.

PTF Package: RBPTF001
Available Date: March 7, 1997

Recap:

This PTF corrects error messages issued during Remote Printing. Under certain conditions where more than two locations are sending reports to a single location simultaneously, a routing program may fail with an error message at the receiving machine. The failing program is PRTORCVC and it will fail with error message CPF7365.
