The following series of screens show how you can setup and control network security on your System i using our optional Nav-Central GUI interface for SafeNet/400. Nav-Central is included with SafeNet/400 with the Advanced or Enterprise versions.

After starting Nav-Central on your desktop, the following main control panel will be shown:

Each of the tabs on the left panel lets you control the corresponding settings in SafeNet/400 on your System i. For example, click on the "Servers" tab will display the following panel:

This display shows all of the servers controlled through SafeNet/400 along with their current settings. The column highlighted in green allows you to manipulate the current settings for each of the servers.

Returning to the original control screen, you can select a specific user and all of the controls for that user profile will be brought up for your review and control. The following shows the server controls for a single user:

Or, you can select object level controls for the user and the following panel will be presented where you can set up those controls for the user:

In addition to the various user controls, you can also display transaction history from within the Nav-Central desktop application as follows:
