The following series of screens demonstrate SpoolMover/400 functions and features. After installing the product, the following main menu will be displayed on your system:

Main Menu

From this menu, you can scan for items in an output queue, manually send a spool file to a remote system or send all entries in an output queue to a remote system. You can also use the options shown to set up and control automatic output queue monitoring to send spool files to remote systems in a "hands off" environment.

Menu option #1 allows you to review the reports (spool files) on your system. When you choose this menu option, the following command screens are displayed:

Work With SpoolMover/400

From this screen, you can select the report that you want to send to your remote site. When you select a report, the following screen is displayed with the report identifying fields already filled in:

Move Spool File

This screens shows how you can send your report to a remote system. This screen has been filled in with a sample destination location and the final printer output queue location for your report on the remote system.

SpoolMover/400 also lets you select a group of reports in an output queue, or all reports in the queue, and send them to your remote system. The following command prompt is used for this purpose:

Move All Files in a Queue

On the above screen, you can send multiple reports in a single operation. All of the reports will be sent to the designated output queue on your remote system.
